4th grade Flowerfield School
The fourth grade class attended Flowerfield on September 12. Flowerfield is an experience every fourth grade student at Banner County gets to have. Flowerfield is the old school house staged in the 1880’s. Students are encouraged to dress as students from the 1880’s. The students got a chance to experience writing with quill pens, learning old arithmetic, and many other school day experiences from the 1880’s. After a half school day experience the students had lunch outside and played old recreation games. After lunch they got to tour the log house, general store, and the historical museum. Going back to 1880’s for a full day was a great experience and the students loved it!
