💛💙State FFA Convention Day 1 was a success! We started the day with a tour of Case IH and ended with watching Micah earn his State FFA Degree. We are so proud of him and his accomplishments! We’re ready for day 2 with more Leadership Academies and our meats team competing!

📰February/March Edition of the Scratching Post
The 5th grade are glazing their storyteller sculptures in art class. Their clay figures are based on the traditional storytelling of the Pueblo Indians and the artwork of Helen Cordero.
Great job to our teams at the MAC Quiz Bowl! Both Junior High and High School placed 6th in their divisions. Special shoutout to our individual winners: Shawnie M. (All-Conference) and Leeigh M. (Honorable Mention). 🤓

Banner County FFA is working to support those impacted by the Morrill County fire by collecting hay donations for local families and producers in need. In times like these, even the smallest contribution can make a big difference in helping care for livestock and rebuild. We encourage anyone who is able to donate hay to join us in supporting our community.🌾💙

🚧💨Due to concerns with the projected extremely high wind event, there will be no school on Thursday, March 12th. Forecasts are calling for wind gusts in the 70+ mph range, and these conditions would make it unsafe for school buses to be on the road. Parent/Teacher Conferences will still be held as scheduled. However, if you are able to move your conference time to an earlier time in the day, please contact your child’s teacher or the school office to make those arrangements. Staff will report at 8 AM. Thank you for your understanding as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff.
